Thinking about Visiting The United Church?
Everyone is welcome to attend worship at The United Church.
We try hard to live up to a phrase used in United Church of Christ Congregations:
"No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey; you are welcome here!"
We will make every effort to insure that you are greeted warmly, treated with dignity,
and made to feel welcome in our fellowship. If you prefer to "check out" our worship service
before your first visit, we invite you to tune in to the radio broadcast on WWBR - 100.9 FM.

Sunday Services
Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
The service generally lasts an hour. We follow a traditional order of worship
that encompasses the worship styles of the two denominations of which we are part -
The United Church of Christ, and the Presbyterian Church (USA).

We celebrate the Sacrament of Communion on the first Sunday of the month
and all are invited to partake of the communion elements.
Music for our services is provided by our very talented
vocal choir, 5 octave bell choir, and wonderful organist.

When You Arrive
You will find ample parking in the lot located on the West side of the building
between Rust and Mill Streets. There are clearly marked accessible parking spaces
near the building. When you enter under the canopy, you will find a stairway
and elevator in the entrance. The Sanctuary is located on the main floor of the building (1).
Turn to your right off the elevator and go down the hallway. You will pass the church library,
nursery and accessible restrooms on your left. At the end of the hall you will see a Welcome Desk,
staffed by volunteers from the congregation who can answer any questions you might have.
At the entrance to the Sanctuary you will be welcomed by our Greeters and the Ushers
who will escort you to your seat.

Children in Worship
We are delighted to welcome your children into our worship experience.
A nursery is provided for children under the age of three,
where they will be cared for by our qualified and screened staff.
(You are welcome to bring them into worship, if you prefer.)
Children 3 and older begin Sunday mornings in the Sanctuary and then are invited
to come forward for what we call "Children's Time in Worship" -
a short story/conversation with the Pastor. At the close of Children's Time the kids
are escorted to their Sunday school classrooms by their teachers.
