The United Church of Big Rapids

From 6 p.m. Dec. 9th until noon Dec. 10th twenty middle school and high school youth, Wayne McKay plus 4 rented carpet cleaning machines, gallons of cleaning water, 6 pizzas, 5 orders of crazy bread, two breakfast casseroles, dozens of donuts, lots of cookies and over 100 hours of combined cleaning time have our church carpets ready for Christmas. A special thank you to Crystal Walcutt who stayed with us the entire time and Pete Daniels for spending the night, Leslie Daniels for preparing the casseroles, Wendy Hoisington for assisting in casserole preparation/cookie providing and Kurt Somsel for helping on Saturday morning.
