INITIAL REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JAN. 24, 2020

Activities: Enjoy skiing, snowboarding, X-Country skiing, reading by the fire, board games, a day of creative crafts at

                 Caberfae and an evening at Ferris State University’s Student Activity Center for swimming & basketball.                  Worship on Sunday morning.

Sleeping: We will be sleeping on the carpeted floors of the various rooms at The United Church, Big Rapids.

Food: Registration includes T-SHIRT, snacks Friday night, breakfast Saturday morning, dinner Saturday night, snacks          Saturday night, and breakfast Sunday morning. You provide your dinner on Friday night before you arrive, and your            group plans lunch on Saturday at Caberfae Peaks Ski Resort (You may bring a potluck lunch).

Costs: $25.00 Registration plus your costs for skiing or snowboarding. You may send the Initial Registration money ($25.00             each) and initial the registration form now. (DUE NO LATER THAN Friday, January 24, 2020).

We require one church check to cover all registrations. You may separately send the money for ski rental, snowboard rental, and lift tickets and the required forms for this activity. This must reach our church office no later than Monday noon on February 3, 2020. We require that one church check pay for these activities. The costs are $27.00 for a lift ticket, $24.00 for rental of skis or snowboard, $3.00 for rental of a helmet, $5.00 for a ski school lesson, $24.00 to rent X-Country skis, $10.00 for Craft Experience at Lodge (if not skiing or snowboarding.

Times: From Friday evening registration (7:30-9:30 PM) thru Sunday morning worship (11:00 AM).

Space: We have a limited number of registrants we can accommodate. The first 125 with the paid $25.00 Registration Money and the Group Initial Registration Form to reach our church office will be able to attend.

Entertainment:  Balsam Brothers Band on Friday night and BR YOUTH on Saturday night

Winter-Fest is a project of The United Church of Big Rapids, Michigan (PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH USA & UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST). This project is supported by The Michigan Conference of The United Church of Christ and Lake Michigan Presbytery.

Our goals are to provide a high-energy weekend of skiing, snowboarding, swimming, recreation games, guided art activities and Christian fellowship activities for 6th grade through high school youth.

This event is planned as a total experience that should only be attended by youth groups that can arrive by the end of registration on Friday and stay through worship on Sunday.
